My brief for Hochschild Mining, a FTSE 250 listed South American mining company, was to develop and refine their existing investor reporting. Through the curation of photography and development of their brand language, I created a series of reports for them that balanced the need to explain the complexity of their business with the ability to speak to potential investors.

This process of brand refinement culminated in the 2020/21 report which, against the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic, actively engaged their workforce in South America to produce honest, on-the-ground photography to represent the business. This employee-generated photography was integral to telling the story of the challenges they faced throughout the pandemic, and it was used not only for their Annual Report but also in their first stand-alone ESG Report.
